LCD Soundsystem have launched a virtual reality experience.
The video is called ‘Dance Tonite’, and shows an animated party of dancing cones and cylinders. On the ‘Dance Tonite’ website users can click on individual dancers to see the video from their perspective, while participants with their own VR headsets can experience the simulation as if it is happening around them.
The experience was developed by Google, who got real-life LCD fans to dance through various rooms and then edited the participants into the brightly coloured 3D shapes.
