Mac DeMarco has shared a demo and promised new material is on the way.
‘Rollin Like A Dummy’ is a four track recording dating back to the sessions for 2012’s ‘2’. Shared via a WeTransfer link on the Mac DeMarco subreddit, you can download it here.
Signing the post as Jar Jar Binks, DeMarco explained: “Everybody’s always asking for a recording of this song, so I’m finally getting around to it,” while also revealing a final version exists but “never made it out of tape land and onto the computer.”
He also says he’s working on new music, but it’ll be a little bit because… erm… “I just had penis enlargement surgery so my balance is all out of whack and I can’t play my drums properly right now, but soon enough I’ll get used to this new piece.”
