Tay Jardine used to do pop-punk with We Are The In Crowd but now she’s branching out and trying her hand at pop bangers.

Technicolour‘, the first taste of her new project Sainte, sees her have her cake and eat it.

“I think ‘Technicolor’ is a really good representation of our sound,” explains Tay. “When writing these songs, the vibe was different than what we were used to immediately and we continued to move forward in that way. I’ve never had that much fun shooting a video. Raul (Gonzo, who directed this and all those cool PVRIS videos) really brought the song to life in the perfect way. I mean, how could you not have fun attempting to ride a bike on a treadmill, while trying to focus on remembering the lyrics to a new song?!… and for the record, the cake was lemon flavored, so that just added to the fun…also distracting.

“The live show is going to be just as fun and crazy as the video, I want people to see a SAINTE show and feel as excited about this new chapter as I am,” she continues. “It just feels so good to be doing something that is such a genuine representation of who I am and what I want to do as an artist – I want everyone to feel like they’re a part of it.”
