Thumpers fancy a ’99’ on their new track

It’s the fourth single to come from forthcoming album ‘Whipped & Glazed’.

Thumpers have dropped another new track from their forthcoming second album.

Titled ’99’, the track was given a debut spin on Huw Stephens’ BBC Radio 1 show last night (16th August). It’s taken from the band’s forthcoming album ‘Whipped & Glazed’, which is set for release on 1st September.

“’99’ is about seeing the ghost of a past romance in an ice cream parlour – and being crushed by the weight of feelings about it in the most childish way”, says singer Marcus Pepperell.

It’s the fourth track to be lifted from the record, following up on ‘Gargantua’, ‘Boundary Loves’ and ‘Caramel’. You can stream ’99’ below.
