Slaves are set to play a special hometown show later this month.
The duo are set to celebrate the fifth birthday of their debut, self-released mini album ‘Sugar Coated Bitter Truth’. Recorded and released before the hype circus picked up the band and landed them slap bang in the middle of the mainstream, the band explain: “it kicked off our career and started us getting played on the radio, leading to our first ever festival slot at Reading and Leeds. To celebrate we return to the scene of the crime for a one off gig!”
That show will take place at Tunbridge Wells Forum on 20th July, and will see the band play ‘Sugar Coated Bitter Truth’ in full.
Tickets for the show will be allocated via a lottery system. Fans can sign up via Dice until midnight tonight. After that will be a 24 hour window to buy the tickets.
