The Horrors have a brand new CGI video for ‘Machine’

Check it out now ahead of their new album ‘V’.

The Horrors have shared the video for their most recent single, ‘Machine’.

The track is taken from their forthcoming fifth full-length ‘V’ (see what they did there – Ed), which is set for release on 22nd September. It follows up on 2014’s ‘Luminous’.

You can check out the CGI clip, for which the band teamed up with Jon Emmony, below.

On making the video, Jon said: “The video for ‘Machine’ is based around the concept of computer simulation. The creatures, formed from sections cut and twisted from insects, crustaceans and bone are arranged in sculptural compositions inspired by artists such as Hieronymus Bosch; finding the surreal within mixed forms and scales. If left, taken away from an edit, the creatures would continue to exist and their movements would evolve.”

“For me this was an exciting way to create digital imagery, as having an element of control removed and then decided by a computer seemed fitting with the track. Machines inside machines.”

The Horrors will support the record by hitting the road for a UK and Irish tour this October.
